State Level Tripartite Meeting at Kota (Rajasthan)

Joint Conference (Tripartite) on “Need and Importance of Ratification of ILO Convention 87 (Freedom of Association and Protection of right to organize) and 98 (F.O.A. and Collective Bargaining)

First State level tripartite meeting was held at Kota (Rajasthan) on 22.11.2010. Shri P.C.Sehgal, M.D., Mumbai Rail Vikas Nigam inaugurated the meeting.  Shri Om Birla, MLA supporting the campaign assured his best cooperation, Dr.(Smt.) Ratna Jain, Mayor, Kota in her address as Chief Guest appealed all sections of the society to render support to the campaign..

Earlier Com. Mukesh Galav, State General Secretary, HMS Rajasthan welcomed the distinguished guests and participants and highlighted the objective of the tripartite meeting.

Other speakers included Shri Rajiv Gandhi Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Kota, Shri L.L. Meena, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, Kota, Shri Sushil Modi, Industrialist of Fortis Modi, Smt Hansa Tyagi, State President, Akikrat Rajya Karamchari Mahasangh, Shri R. K. Swami, State Secretary, CITU, Shri Arjun Dev Chadda, INTUC and representatives of Medical representative Sales Union also extended their support to the demand.

At the end of the meeting a resolution was passed to support the campaign and to hold a mass rally on 10.12.2010 calling upon all the organizations  to participate.
